Archmere Academy is a Catholic, Norbertine college preparatory school, valuing community, respect, zeal, reverence and wisdom. Nurturing body and soul, mind and heart, Archmere focuses on the whole person through academic excellence, faith reflection, social development and service to others. Inspired by its heritage, Archmere cultivates empathetic leaders - young men and women prepared for every good work.

Library Mission

The mission of the Archmere Academy Library is to support and empower students as they learn to be critical thinkers, and ethical users and producers of information in order to create productive citizens in an increasingly challenging global society.

Our Vision

            We strive to:

• be a safe, welcoming space for all of our students;
• connect with students as individuals in order to foster empathy and compassion for others;
• support emotional literacy through a robust and diverse young adult (YA) fiction section;
• empower students to engage their curiosity on a personal and professional level;
• instill 21^st century skills through collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and global citizenship.
